How did I miss the fact that this is National Vocations Awareness Week? Before you click on to the next post in your reader, or check your email, or whatever, please please please take a quick moment to say a prayer for all those discerning vocations.

The Church needs more priests, so pray that every man who is called to this will recognize the call, and especially for all those who have never considered a possible vocation. However, quality is more important than quantity: the Church needs good priests, so pray that those who are not best suited to this life will also realize that.

Trust me - your prayers will not be in vain. God knows who needs them.
